A stroll through Ditmas Park is always recommended whether you're a new visitor or a long time local. Take a walk, soak up the neighborhood and take in the diverse architecture, you might find it hard to believe you are in the middle of Brooklyn! Spring is an especially magical time when the magnolias and cherry trees are in full bloom. The Ditmas Park Historic District stretches between Ocean and 16th Street and Dorchester and Newkirk Ave.
If you've spent the afternoon strolling Ditmas and taking in the tree lined streets, head to the Wheated on Church avenue for some of the best Pizza in NYC. As Native New Yorkers, we do not say that lightly. They also have a top notch Whiskey selection and great cocktails.

Bar Chord has been open since the Spring of 2013 and through all the ups and downs, what keeps us going is the community that quickly formed around music and art. The constant flow of talent that graces our little stage never ceases to amaze us and we hope that our model of NO COVER EVER gives everyone a chance to experience the joy of live music.
