Truffle Wishes & Ravioli Dreams

Manhattan-Greenwich Village

Babbo is a special place. From the food to the ambience it’s always a night to remember. I’ve celebrated a couple of very special occasions here and it has always lived up to the hype. The wine selection and knowledge of the sommelier is also something that has always impressed me. Some of the best homemade pastas, elegant plating, impeccable service all in a warm and inviting space, what more can you want?

Emily is a singer, teacher and mother who knows Manhattan. There are few things she enjoys more than spending a fall day in Central Park with her family. A close second is a tall coffee and a Brooklyn Blackout from Two Little Red Hens.

Amelie is a solid wine bar with a very good menu it’s own right. However, when you’re on your way to Babbo you’re going to want to hold off on eating anything. This spot is perfect as it’s a 2 minute walk from Babbo. Great place to grab a glass of wine and mentally prepare for the dining experience ahead.

Babbo is a special place. The restaurant has been around for a quite awhile but still manages to turn out very solid dishes. If you are in the mood for an upscale Italian meal in the village, it’s always a great option.
