Next time you eat at Maialino (we’re already skipping ahead to the second time) you will be stricken with anxiety over whether or not to order the same thing you ordered first time because it was so amazing you can’t imagine not getting it. Or do you order something new? After all there is an entire menu that you haven’t explored and it would be a waste to only ever try one dish…..but would it?!? eek! Here’s what you do. Encourage the rest of your party to order new dishes and then order your favorite. Exchange a few bites of your favorite dish for a little taste of everyone else’s and be glad you’ve found a brunch loop hole. Just a couple blocks north of Union Square you'll find Fishs Eddy. There's always something fun and interesting to find at this quirky kitchen and homeware shop. Plenty of New York centric mugs and dishes as well as various home knick knacks. A fun spot to browse and if you're visiting NYC a great place to pick up a small gift from your family and freinds back home.

There are a number of great stores located right along Broadway that offer tons of great window shopping. In addition to Fishs Eddy and Brooks Brothers there is also the quirky kids and home goods shop Flying Tiger Copenhagen and a number of home and design stores including; The Chilewich, Farrow & Ball and ABC Carpet & Home all located within a block. In the Brooks Brothers shop there is also a nice cafe located on the lower level. You can easily grab a book or bring your laptop and sink into one of the large leather chairs for a little downtime during your day out.
