Greenwich Village is a beautiful and lively neighborhood in lower Manhattan where you’ll find cobble stone streets and brownstone town houses. The neighborhood’s heart lies in WashingtonSquarePark, where people mingle and relax. There are a lot of young people in the area since NYU campuses are all around.
Tortaria is a small Mexican joint located between Washington Square Park and Union Square. Their burritos are delicious and I can’t get enough of their chipotle sauce. It’s colorful and cozy, and easy on the wallet as well. They’re also known for their tasty margaritas and endless tequila selection.
A few blocks away (6 minute walk) is Irving Plaza, a music venue which has a concert of some type almost every day, whether it’s a local band or a known artist. It’s worth checking out what they have going on and head over there after your burrito!
