Hell’s Kitchen is jam packed with restaurants and drink spots around every corner. It’s a very fun area and perfect for planning a bar crawl with your friends. If you’re ever in town during restaurant week this area would be worth experiencing and exploring. This guide will give you the tastes of great food and of the NYC nightlife.

Louis was born and raised in Detroit. After attending college at Syracuse, he moved to the city to work in the entertainment industry including roles at MTV and Nickelodeon. He is an exercise enthusiast and wellness nut! You can catch him riding his bike along the Hudson in the morning and boxing at night. He is an avid user of Snapchat, and although he can’t sing he remains active in the creative and business side of music industry as well!

A must go to spot is Shake Shack! It’s by far the best burger joint in the city. It’s dog friendly so if you have a pup don’t hesitate to order something off the doggie menu! I would recommend buying a few burgers at this place due to the burger’s size and variety. Their delicious shakes are a perfect treat, whether during the meal or after!

Right next to the largest bus terminal in the U.S. is Beer Authority. Two floors and endless beer selections at a very reasonable price! This spot contains a good mix of locals and tourists so be prepared for a friendly and approachable crowd. On a nice day you can enjoy a beer on the rooftop. I usually go there for their large selection of IPAs. The staff is friendly and the place is very authentic.

Right down the street is Sky Room, a gorgeous rooftop lounge/bar. There may be a line to get in but once you get to the rooftop it will be worth it. It has an amazing view of NYC and the Hudson River. It has comfortable lounge furniture to relax on while enjoying a delicious cocktail. At night you’ll see the whole city sparkle, and going there around sunset is even more beautiful. For seating there are both indoor and outdoor options available. The crowd is pretty dressed up so it’s a relatively classy place with great cocktail options to have a helluva night. This is a great spot to end the evening. Get lost in the views, mingle with some friends and enjoy the stars above.
