Balthazar

Balthazar is a Soho staple. It’s been opened since the late 90’s and is a classic spot for delicious French brassier fare. Think Steak and Moules Frites for dinner and eggs florentine as well as ham and gruyere for brunch. In addition to the classic vibe there is the occasional celebrity citing to complete your perfect Soho outing.

They also have a wide selection of dessert wines, coffees, and desserts that will satisfy your sweet tooth for sure. If you’re a chocolate lover then you can’t go wrong with the warm chocolate cake that’s served with homemade white chocolate ice cream that melts perfectly over the top. More of a fruity dessert lover? Then the apple tart Tatin or strawberry shortcake would be right up your alley. All the desserts are a little more expensive at $14 but well worth it. Pair them with a nice cappuccino with cinnamon and you will enter your food coma for sure!
